With more and more people hearing about CHT and our story, we continue to grow and raise awareness, we have helped Christ Church C of E School in Purley get their own defibrillator!
“I started looking into purchasing a defib about a year ago. One of the organisations I contacted was Carly Heart Trust, recommended by Sam Jones – I went on a first aid course Sam ran. I then approached our PTA (which we call Friends of Christ Church School – FCCS) who agreed to allocate £600 from fund raising events. It took a little while for the money to be allocated to us and our defib was bought towards the end of last year and delivered in January.
Knowing how vital a defib can be in cases of emergency it is reassuring to have a defib within our school.
